“I had a distance reiki healing session today with Lin, hoping that she would be able to work on helping me let go of past trauma. I usually find it difficult to relax and switch off (unless I am having a massage) and even struggle with meditation. It took a while for me to really relax and to try and not to focus on anything and eventually I found myself seeing lots of purple and orange (I had my eyes shut). About 15 minutes in I suddenly had this really heavy feeling in my chest, the only way I can describe it is it was like the feeling you get in your chest when you have been crying hard for a long time. It hurts. It only lasted a few seconds but following that I could feel my eyes filling with tears and then I just started crying. I had no idea why but the tears just kept coming. I wouldn’t say I felt emotional but I was just crying. That went on for about 10 minutes and after that I started seeing bright orange again. Following the session I did feel ‘lighter’ if you understand what I mean.It was a great experience and I will be interested to see how I feel in the coming days. “I had a lovely session of reiki distance healing from Lin yesterday. I had a feathering feeling around my hairline initially, then deep relaxation and seeing lots of yellow. There was some cold sensation around my left arm (I was wrapped in a blanket so wasn’t cold) then I experienced waves of cold energy from my heart chakra rippling outwards. Really lovely. My tummy was painful before and it also settled nicely. I am also a reiki practitioner so it was lovely to receive some healing for a change and a nice change to 1:1 and no less effective.
